Beauty Never Dies by Jace Cameron & How to Get it for FREE!

Beauty Never Dies (The Grimm Diaries Prequels, #3)
 Blurb (from Goodreads):
Peter Pan has a plan. Since it's been hundred years since his friends were all cursed by the Brothers Grimm, he is about to wake up Sleeping Beauty, his eternal lover. Oops, you didn't know that. Blame it on the Grimms.

But in the middle of the ceremony, he is visited by the Evil Queen who manipulates him into helping her with information about Snow White. This or she will expose him as he has been secretly kidnapping kids to help him rebuild Neverland in the Dreamworld.

After the deal is made, Peter continues with the ceremony, bringing Sleeping Beauty back into life. What Sleeping Beauty is capable of and who she really is are like nothing ever written in the books.

Beauty Never Dies (The Grimm Diaries Prequels, #3)(Source: Downloaded for free from Amazon.)
This is the third prequel to the full length novel ‘Snow White Sorrow’, and is a diary entry written by Peter Pan.
Peter is waking the famous Dracula (with the help of his servant the Hunchback of Notre Damme), with the intention of using Dracula to awake Sleeping Beauty – his true love.
After waking Dracula, Peter goes home only to find the Snow White Queen waiting for him. She tells him about her worries over the ‘lost seven’, and then Peter goes ahead with his plans to wake Sleeping Beauty (who he has asleep in a bedroom at his house).

I have to say that I really did feel that this story went just a bit too far for me. I was impressed that the author made comments about how Peter Pan has nothing to do with Grimm’s fairy tales, which I know a lot of reviewers have mentioned, but the whole book was just like an a-lister party, with real big-guns of the fairy tale world coming out, along with Dracula and the hunchback of Notre Damme! Sorry, just a step too far for me!

That being said the actual story was alright, and I liked that Sleeping Beauty isn’t portrayed as some poor defenceless little darling. I also liked the twist which we got right at the end of the tale, which was actually worth waiting for, and totally saved this story for me!!

7 out of 10.

Grab a free copy of this as part of the fourth prequel ‘Ladle Rat Rotten Hut’, available for free on July 25th on kindle at Amazon! (after this date each prequel will be sold seperately.)
